Tutorial 1 : step-by-step

First, open the image of skycrapers.

Then display the Rulers by clicking Ctrl+R. It is used for guidance.

Next, by using the eclipse Marquee tool we can select part of the picture in a round shape.
To make the selected part blur, i then Select -> Feather.
Continued with Gaussian blur with 5.6 pixel.

The sky crapper part is done.

Next, moved on to starfish.

The starfish is being dragged from another window to the sky crapper.
The image of the starfish is then resized to 80%.

Alt+drag key to duplicate the starfish and put them into layers.

and resized. Next, to make the starfish blur, i used Gaussian blur for both starfish. starfish 2 is 3.0 pixel. and starfish 3 is 4.5 pixel.

to fade the first starfish, i used Blur -> Radial Blur.

If we want to select just a part of the starfish, we shall use the paintbrush tool.

Now, im done with the starfishes.

After that, open the tv screen file.
Select area -> control+delete.

the tv screen will look like this.

Change the layer.

Flatten the image.

By using control+T, drag the image around.

To make the shadow of the tv screen, i used Layer effect -> drop shadow.

Using Lasso tool, i made the shadow of the sky crapper. By playing with the black background and opacity i can get the sky crapper shadow on the tv screen.

The end.
